The Bestlite collections of light fittings is a design classic that has been in production since 1930. Winston Churchill was among its many famous users. The collection was created by Robert Dudley Best, a designer strongly influenced by the Bauhaus movement. Combining craftsmanship and fine arts, this German school became famous for its conception of design and has greatly influenced art, architecture, graphics and design. More than eighty years after its conception, the Bestlite lamp has become a timeless piece that is proud of its industrial origins. Produced by Gubi, Bestlite is available as a desk lamp or floor light. Both of these models have an articulated arm that allows the light to be directed.
